To further assist companies adjust to the impacts of COVID-19, the Valley Regional Enterprise Network has expanded its business support services by introducing a Virtual Adviser Program. Powered by BoomersPlus, this free program will match qualified companies with a seasoned Virtual Adviser to help their business manage and recover from COVID-19. Participants will have access to four to six calls over two to three months (an extension may be considered depending on need). Businesses operating in the Annapolis Valley region can access this new program and must commit to the calls and follow-up work for the duration of the program. Would a research project help propel your business? Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) has partnered with MITACS to help make the cost for a post-secondary research project even more affordable.
The Mitacs Accelerate program, enables businesses to access research interns from post secondary institutions at half the cost. Now with NSBI’s partnership, eligible businesses will only pay a quarter of the ($15,000) cost.
